Very Possible Down Time

Hey everybody
Just a real quick one right here:

The Anime Boston 2006 Video is well under way and will definitely come out on time.

Marcus seems to have been eaten by some mystical cracken or something and is not around.

The other summer vids are all also well under way and will be coming out. Supposedly one will be on our youtube very very soon.

Since Marcus is now in control of all the server stuff, and has the key to let me move all our stuff from the current server to the new server, and since he seems to have been eaten by a mystical cracken, thus being out of reach, the site may go down in August.

So instead of a rant that might only be up here for a few days I'm just going to say

Harajuku fashion.

0_o So it would appear as though summer is nearing its end. Surprisingly we've been really productive on the back end. We've been spending a lot of time on the new site, recreating our image and message. I've been studying up on a ton of PHP and javascript, so the new layout will definitely be sick. We've got a few big projects coming up, the first of which will be Nobuka Nekosama: THE Monthly, which will be coming out in a few days actually. Following that will be Anime Boston 2006: The Counter-Culture, which documents our crazy adventures at this years anime boston. Then we've got a big animated cartoon I'm working on and as always, a few more movies.

0_o Speaking of movies check out our YouTube Account for another video that I uploaded yesterday. If its not there right now, give it a day or two for it to get through all the processing crap.

0_o Also keep hitting up the news section on the forum. I haven't been able to post anything recently because its getting kidna hard to find interesting news. Most of its just about North Korea and the Mid-East and Bush preserving embryos so people can suffer slow painful deaths. I mean, what happened to the good news, like 'Elderly mother of four found to be hooker on late nights and weekends,' or 'Jerry Richfield, CEO of highly succesful DynaCorp, found to be ringleader of suicidal cult when 400 die in ritual 'spirit-melding' excersize. Richfield claims that he, 'didn't know the juice was that kind of juice.''

0_o Y'know? I mean, the worlds already bad enough as it is. Why not some good things? Like the pic of that kid holding that snake... just look at that... wow... that's amazing. Just amazing.

0_o Also, in light of all the hype surrounding the recent armada of movies coming out (Pirates2, Clerks2, Snakes on a Plane, Transformers), I thought it'd be nice to share this lil thing that B tipped me off on, that Marcus found: TMNT. Oh yea. Another TMNT movie. I definitely just splooged myself.

I was gonna write something yesterday, but I got sidetracked. On a related note, Pterodactyl is an AMAZING work of cinema that you should all watch. Right now.
Go check out out YouTube Account! Its got both anime boston trailers up there! I would have uploaded them to the media section, but we're in the process of moving all our stuff to a new server, so there'd really be no point. With that in mind, sometime before next month the site will probably go down for a few days while we move. I'd say that it would all go smooth and how it should, but things always go wrong. Kinda like a horror movie. Why do those kids go into the abandoned warehouse? Everyone knows there's ghosts or monsters or succubae there!

Also, keep checking out the News . We're actually updating it in an almost daily fashion. And I've been learning a whole lot about the world. Did you know they have floating beds? Yea man! The world's freaking awesome! Except for things like the whole north korea missile crap... that kinda makes the world suck.

Finally, keep a strong grip on your undies when the 25th roles around. The revamped first issue of Nobuka Nekosama And Friends will be coming out, and lemme tell you, it'll be SICK. Not like sick as in a dog diahhreaing all over your dining room table and you rolling in while making a movie. That's bad sick. This'll be like bukakke in a bucket sick.

In a completely related note, it turns out the word 'bukakke' fits on a liscence plate. I think that's cool.

+Hope your summer's been going as good as mine.
As if kicking everything off with anime boston and a two week trip to europe wasn't enough, I get to spend the next two months in sunny san diego. With enough nuke to keep a colony of rabid elephants sedated for about three years. Life rocks.
+Speaking of Diego, our Diego is over here. In San Diego. He was at my house for a few days, so we made a movie (to fight off boredom and so that he could mess around with imovie which is on his sleak new laptop. The thing is sexy.), which he will hopefully get up on our YouTube account soon enough.
+Speaking of which, check out our YouTube account for an anime boston trailer I threw together as well as another movie trailer that I'll put up there soon enough.
+Speaking of anime boston trailers, I've got all the files on my working computer. So unlike previous times, the editting process is quite on schedule. The final movie should be up on our youtube account in August. It'll be up on the site in combination with the full Ninja Styarue 2 DVD, which will include cast interviews, behind the scenes footage, music, apparel, and other cool stuff like that.
+Now, in case you couldn't read... well, then you wouldn't be reading this so I'm not at all talking to you... but if you noticed, the site is currently morphing around like a mongoose with super powers.
+If you were thinking just our name was changing, we've got some major surprises for ya. The entire physical layout of the site is being majorally made over as we speak. Lots of work is going into it on our part and I have a realy good feeling that everyone's gonna be really pleased with the final piece of work.
+So get ready for some sick stuff. I'm personally really excited about the zine (which is gonna come out on the 20th) and all the movies that are coming! Movies rock. I love movies so much, that I made it a goal when I got back from Europe to watch a movie every day of the summer. So far I've been doing a really good job. ... Yea I do have way too much free time. But these movies are really good. Pistol Opera, Satan's Little Helper, Digimon: The Movie, and The Final Countdown (greatest movie ever. Even better than Alien vs Predator. Diego will vouch for it), are among my top favorites.
